On November 8, 2024, the foundation of 60 wind turbines for the Gurbantunggut Desert Base project, jointly constructed by the Fourth Branch and the Wind Power Division, was fully poured.

Faced with complex geological conditions and changing weather challenges, the project team scientifically planned, reasonably allocated resources, carefully organized, and made every effort to promote the construction progress, ensuring high-quality pouring of each wind turbine foundation. During the construction process, the construction technical plan was strictly implemented, safety technical disclosures were carried out layer by layer, and on-site safety hazards were eliminated. Ultimately, the wind turbine foundation construction task was completed with high quality and efficiency, laying a solid foundation for subsequent wind turbine hoisting.

The 525000kW new energy project of middling coal in Gurbantunggut Desert Base consists of wind power and photovoltaic power. The wind power project is located in the first wind farm in the Bostan wind power planning area of Mulei Kazak Autonomous County. The planned installed capacity of the project is 400MW, and 60 6.7MW wind turbines are installed, with a total installed capacity of 400MW. The photovoltaic project is located in the photovoltaic plot 3 #, Queren Township, Mulei Photovoltaic Park, north of Mulei County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang. The installed capacity of the project's photovoltaic modules is 151.28256MWp, and the installed capacity of the inverter is 125.4MVA. The scheme of block power generation and centralized grid connection is adopted.
